

The song is based on Shanmukhapriya raga. Soundararajan rehearsed for an entire day before he recorded it. The tune "Muthai Tharu" was composed by Pappa before the recording, he called the religious preacher Kirupanandha Variyar, who explained its meaning. During production, Pappa completed the score after Ramanathan fell ill.
